This morning the weight of my responsibilities tried to overwhelmed me, so I went to my bible and searched… for my heart was heavy and I knew the only thing that would bring me peace was the word (I thank God for his word) one of the scriptures that resonated with me was Psalms 27:14 “Wait on the Lord be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart: wait I say on the Lord”
It so hard to wait on the Lord when you are going through… you want the pain to stop now, the struggle to end now, the success to happen now, the relationship now, the hurt to end now… but I have learned the hard way that sometimes you have to patiently endure before you receive what you have been promised
So I encourage you just as I needed encouragement to stay the course choose not to fear your current circumstance for the Lord is your present help
Until next time Be Inspired and Prosper...
It’s something about “beginnings” for it represents newness, a fresh start and limitless possibilities
At the beginning of every year I set goals or make resolutions for myself, but more often than not the year would come to a close and in no way was I any closer to accomplishing a quarter of my whole…so I roll it over to the next year until I am finally able to cross it of my list and say with great joy “task achieved”.
I looked back at my scribbles, (the goals I set for 2012) and I smiled for I obtained what seemed to be the ever illusive impossible and the ones I have yet to achieve I am confident will soon be conquered
In 2012 I:
I realized that my life gives testament to the word "persevere"…So when it comes to this business I have made a pledge of determination to continue the journey of building my business from nothing not just to a success but a brand even when faced with little or no indication of success.
Some of my greatest hopes was achieved in 2012, which made room for new goals to add to the goals I have yet to accomplish...I can't stop I won't stop until the Lord is finished using me...until next time be inspired by something and prosper...
Proposal story: Imagine my surprise horror when I am told by my now fiancé that for my 32 birthday we were going to sit at home and eat pizza...Well I was like; “WHAT THE!? Okay, if we have to have pizza it's got to be Upscale because that’s my favorite pizza place” after we arrived at Upscale Pizza Santa happened to be there and Bradley asked me to go stand in line and tell Santa what I wanted for Christmas…I said “NO” after a little begging and some negotiating I finally gave in…even though I had no intention of telling Santa what I wanted for Christmas, at least I would get a picture...and what a picture It turned out to be. for it was in that moment while I was talking nonsense to Santa that I happened to look up and saw Bradley walking towards me with the most beautiful red box I have seen and to my utter surprise he got on his knee and asked me one of the most wonderful questions a man will ask a lady…he asked me to marry him. Excited, mortified, and a little brain dead… words kind of escaped me logic left me and it was not until I heard someone yell in the crowd “I want to know if she said yes” that I with delayed joy said yes! Afterwards I punched him in the gut because it took him six years :) Happiest Day Ever!
This is my life unimpeded, unafraid and unashamed, on a journey from impoverishment to prosperity in every area!
